Rick Warren gives keynote address at Muslim convention

While Muslim barbarians lob rockets in an act of war over international borders into Israel’s sovereign territory, the idiots at the helm considering renovating sites holy to Muslims that have laid abandoned and neglected for 60 years.

For the past few months, a ministerial committee on the Arab community in
Israel has been debating the issue, considered by many to be of tremendous importance and sensitivity.

The initial phase of the plan entails renovating 12 particularly dilapidated
sites, including Zidani mosque in Tiberias; Nebi Rubin mosque in Palmahim;
al-Rabasiyeh mosque near the village of Sheikh Danun; Ein Zeitun mosque near Safed; Amka mosque near Amuka and Yavne mosque. Also, Muslim cemeteries in Be’er Sheva, Sidna Ali in Herzliya, Azur and Ashkelon will be renovated.

If the ministerial committee decides to give the plan the go-ahead then it
will commit the next government after the upcoming election to carrying it
out, no matter what political coalition is formed. However, it is not yet
certain whether the committee will act on the plan before elections are
held.

Last summer, a joint bill on renovating sites holy to Islam in Israel was
submitted by Jewish MK Michael Melchior (Labor) and Arab MK Ibrahim Sarsur (Ra’am-Taal) , but their proposal did not receive the support of the
government.

“These places are continually neglected in a way that is not becoming of an
enlightened state,” Melchoir and Sarsur’s bill read. “The State of Israel,
which takes care of the holy sites to Jews in the country and demands other countries to respect places holy to Judaism in their territories, should
also take care of the holy sites to Islam.”

Indeed, the Israeli public was outraged when Hamas systematically bulldozed synagogues in the former settlements of Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip following its pullout from the territory in 2005.

According to the proposal submitted to the ministerial committee, a joint
panel consisting of representatives of the government and the Arab public in Israel will be created to carry out renovation work. Its objective will be
the rehabilitation, preservation and maintenance of those places holy to
Islam throughout Israel. The prime minister will be charged with appointing
the qadi, an Islamic judge, to head the committee and it will be budgeted
similarly to the way funds are allocated to the national organization
responsible for the maintenance of sites holy to Judaism.

Minnesota became a part of the United States as Minnesota Territory in 1849, and became the 32nd U.S. state on May 11, 1858.

And on December 8, 2008, Minnesota depreciated the Constitution and singled out a single person or group of persons for special treatment: by setting aside prayer rooms for Muslims in a public mall.

Every year, as Muslims in America are compelled to engage in business, work and shopping during the holidays, many find themselves away from mosques and other places where they can hold prayers without interruption. They are forced to seek privacy in corners and alleyways, places that often subject them to unwanted attention. Some Muslims also worry that their repetitive calls of “Allah akbar!” (God is great!) during prayers could be misconstrued as calls for Jihad.

After American International Group Inc, or AIG, reached two major bailout agreements totaling $152.5 billion in taxpayer dollars, the company is stepping up its dealings with Islamic finance by offering Shariah-compliant homeowners insurance to the U.S. – outraging critics over AIG’s support of a “discriminatory ideology, that is against equality, and that is against liberty.”

Brits are outraged at their arabist government for pandering to Muslims this Christmas.  But the British always pandered to Muslims, so why the outrage now?  Because this time, the British citizens themselves are being forced into dhimmitude and into second-class citizenship in their own country; previously the Brits forced only Jews into dhimmitude.  Oh dear. British parents looking to see their children in a traditional Christmas play are fuming after a school decided to cancel the performance because it conflicts with the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha, the U.K.’s Telegraph newspaper reported.

Officials at the Greenwood Junior School in Nottingham decided to postpone the annual holiday performance because it would have been too difficult to have both the Christmas and Eid celebrations together, The Telegraph reported.

“It is the first year my son has been there and a lot of the mums like me were really looking forward to seeing the children in the nativity,” one mother told the paper.

A letter sent by school officials and obtained by the paper apologized for “any misunderstanding” but said it had to respect “the cultures and religions of all the children.”

“The Christmas performance has not been canceled outright but has been postponed until the New Year,” the letter read.

But parents told The Telegraph that they were originally told the performance was canceled because Muslim children wanted to celebrate Eid with their families, making it difficult to schedule a date for the performance.

The International Herald Tribune chose to not publish one of my comments today in response to this article.  This is what I wrote.   Had I known that the IHT pandered to muslim sensitivity over those of civilized human beings, I would have been even stronger in my response:

It’s to be noted how some Muslim posters here have blamed Israel for the Mumbai attacks.  And so the spin begins and Muslims lead the campaign. Even though the murdered are not yet buried and the total number of murdered are not yet tallied, the indoctrinated blame the attack on poverty.  Muslims don’t have the guts to blame Islam.  This is Muslim identity politics at work.

What’s worst, is that America and the rest of the civilized world still swallow the pablum that Islam is a religion of peace in spite of the 1,400 years of empirical evidence that it is not.

Hamas wants to meet Obama.  Now we get to watch where his Muslim identity politics really lie. Via ElectionNews:

Hamas is ready to open talks with U.S. President-elect Barack Obama, who must deal with the Palestinian militant group if he wants to address the wider conflict in the Middle East, the group’s leader said in an interview broadcast Saturday.

Khaled Mashaal said that Hamas is ready for dialogue with Obama and his new administration “on the basis that the American administration respects our rights and our options.”

Tough talk from Muslim murderers, who of course will no doubt push their detestable agenda which includes the concepts that only Arabs have the right to self-determination and that all Jews are the sons of apes and pigs.
