A Hamas TV sermon details the rewards for a Muslim believer who dies in battle for Allah. Via Palestinian Media Watch:
The privileges that are bestowed upon the one who dies for Allah and mentioned in the hadith are:
1- The Shahid’s sins are forgiven
2- He sees his place in Paradise and lives a full life of joy with Allah
3- He is protected from “the Great Shock” on Judgment Day
4- He is crowned with a crown of honor
5- He marries 72 dark-eyed wives
6- He will be able to intervene on behalf of 70 of his family members on Judgment Day, thereby ensuring them the reward of AfterlifeFor years, both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas have promoted the ideal of dying as a Martyr for Allah. The promotion has been successful.
Palestinian Media Watch has collected many examples of Palestinian children and adults expressing belief in and desire for Shahada. Men and women aspire to become Shahids, and parents express pride and happiness when their children fulfill their aspirations and become Martyrs for Allah.

The Palestinian Authority is starting to be portrayed as the side against peace. Two moves by Netanyahu managed to change the picture: First, his willingness to endorse a Palestinian state, and then the temporary settlement freeze. Israel made a move, so why is Abbas refusing to negotiate? He is being asked this by world leaders at a time when his PA continues to incite against Israel.
While Israel is ready for negotiations, here and now, the Palestinians are presenting preconditions and are losing the West’s support. Preconditions for talks with Israel? As if we never had Oslo, mutual recognition, and signed agreements? The Palestinians failed to realize that hatred for Israel does not equal sympathy for the Palestinians. They confused anti-Israel sentiments with pro-Palestinian sentiments. They failed to understand that many in the world hate Israel, but are using the Palestinians as the fig leaf for this hatred. The Obama administration is increasingly having reservations about them.

Statements made during the opening session of the Fatah conference in Bethlehem indicate that the dominant position among Fatah members is that resistance (muqawama) of various forms is a legitimate right of the Palestinian people. Most Fatah members advocated a combination of the political path with various forms of resistance – from non-violent measures such as demonstrating and planting trees to armed resistance. Except for one lone voice, none expressed a willingness to completely rule out armed resistance.
Even Mahmoud Abbas took an ambiguous stand, in contrast to past statements in which he explicitly opposed violence.

Fire fighters in northern Israel fought dozens of blazes that broke out during the day Wednesday, most of them around noontime.
A source in the Hadera Fire Services told News1 that due to the fact that numerous fires broke out in a relatively limited area, the working assumption is that they were deliberately set. “We still do not know how the fires were set and we do not have details about the arsonist or arsonists,” he said.
Fire in northern Israel, February 2009 (Israel news photo: Flash 90)Initial investigations by fire fighter squads in the numerous fire locations found a likelihood of arson. “This is man-made terror,” a fire commander said. “Fires don’t just break out on their own.”

In a continuation of the 100-year war against the Jewish people, Muslim terrorists have again fired a Qassam rocket into the Negev in another attempt to continue their genocide against the indigenous Jewish people.
Fortunately, Israel Air Force warplanes bombed two weapons-smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip early Sunday in response to the rocket attack.
On Thursday, gunmen opened fire on IDF soldiers near the security fence along the border with Gaza. No soldiers were wounded in the incident.
And for those keeping score and who align themselves politically with “thepoorpalestinianpeepull”, approximately 670 Qassam rockets, mortar shells and Grad missiles have been fired at Israel since the beginning of 2009.

Oopsy daisy. Looks like a member of the “poorpalestinianpeople” tribe left some explosives on a boat off the coast of Gaza that were eventually going to be used to maim and kill Jews. Via Ha’aretz:
An unmanned Palestinian fishing boat laden with explosives blew up on Monday off the coast of Gaza near the Israeli border after Israel Navy soldiers opened fire on the boat. No one was wounded in the blast.

Typical Muslim doublespeak. Via IHT:
A Muslim driver rammed his bulldozer into a police car, rolling it over until it slammed into a bus at one of Jerusalem’s busiest intersections on Thursday before police and a taxi driver shot him dead. An open Koran was found in the driver’s cabin.
Video from a traffic camera showed the bulldozer lowering its front shovel before striking a parked police car. The bulldozer then rolled the vehicle across the intersection, flipping it over and smashing it into a bus. Two officers inside the police car were injured.
Riyad al-Malki, information minister for Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas’ Western-backed government, described the incident as a “traffic accident,” and called for an investigation into why the bulldozer driver was shot.

This, after IDF forces exercise lenience at all checkpoints. Via YnetNews:
An Israel Defense Forces soldier stationed at the Hawara checkpoint, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, was injured on Wednesday after a Palestinian woman threw acid in his face. The woman arrived at the checkpoint and attempted to cross into Israel using the humanitarian aid lane, which is meant for emergencies. Upon approaching the soldier manning the lane, she threw the acid and then ran back towards Nablus. IDF forces are exercising lenience at all checkpoints as part of efforts to ease conditions for the Palestinians during Ramadan.

The family of American Aharon Ellis, killed by a Palestinian Authority security officer who attacked a bat mitzvah celebration in Israel in 2002, charged the PLO and the PA in U.S. federal court with orchestrating the shooting that killed him. The suit was brought under a law that allows American victims of international terrorism to sue for triple damages. A federal judge awarded the family a default judgment of $192.7 million in damages after the PLO and PA refused to defend the suit on the merits. But now the Palestinians, holding themselves out as a partner in the Middle East peace process, have changed lawyers, and asked the judge for a second chance.
The judge, Victor Marrero of Federal District Court in Manhattan, has agreed to set aside the judgment and give them that chance. But there’s a catch. He is requiring the Palestinians to post a bond of $192.7 million so that if they lose again, the damages would be paid.

Not all the money in the world could compensate for the loss of Jewish lives due to the brutal terror of the Palestinian Authority complicit in the genocidal ethnic cleansing of indigenous Jews from their homeland. Via JPost:
Jerusalem District Court Judge Aharon Farkash ruled on Monday that it was possible to implement a 2004 US court ruling, according to which the Palestinian Authority must pay compensations of more than $116 million to terror victims’ families.
In July 2004, a US court ruled that the Palestinian Authority was to pay some $116 million to the relatives of Yaron and Efrat Unger who were killed in a 1996 terror attack. But when the family asked authorities to enforce the court ruling in Israel, the Palestinian Authority objected, saying that paying the high compensations would lead to its financial collapse.
The financial collapse of the Palestinian Authority would be the solution to solving the Middle East debacle that has been singularly shaped by the Arab world’s hostility towards anything that is not Islamic or that does not promot Mohammedism.
