In this pathetic world we live in, only the Jews are to be despised, and Muslims are to be exalted.  Shame on Scotland and the reprehensible brown-noser Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill for releasing a mass murderer.  Yet another example of how the UK has lost its moral will.  Via AP:

The Scottish government says it will release Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Megrahi on compassionate grounds to allow him to return to Libya to die.

Justice secretary Kenny MacAskill said Thursday that there had been a significant deterioration in the health of al-Megrahi, who is suffering from terminal prostate cancer.

MacAskill says he is conscious that there “were deeply held feelings and that many may disagree.”

Al-Megrahi was convicted in 2001 of taking part in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 on Dec. 21, 1988. He was sentenced to life in prison.

The airliner — which was carrying mostly American passengers to New York — blew up as it flew over Scotland. All 259 people aboard and 11 on the ground died when the aircraft crashed into the town of Lockerbie.

Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi is a former Libyan intelligence officer, head of security for Libyan Arab Airlines, and director of the Centre for Strategic Studies in Tripoli, Libya. On 31 January 2001, he was convicted, by a panel of Scottish Judges sitting in a special court at Camp Zeist in the Netherlands, of 270 counts of murder for his part in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, on 21 December 1988.

Megrahi was sentenced to life imprisonment. Suffering from terminal prostate cancer, with less than three months to live, he was freed on compassionate grounds by the Scottish Government on 20 August 2009.

His release was met with controversy. His co-accused, Al Amin Khalifa Fhimah was found not guilty and was acquitted.

We are deeply disappointed over the decision to release Abdel Basset Mohamed al-Megrahi from prison. Mr. Megrahi’s guilt was firmly established by the court. His conviction resulted in a life sentence for his part in the loss of 270 innocent lives, including 189 Americans. He never admitted to his role in this act of terrorism, nor did he or the government of Libya disclose the names or roles of others who were responsible.

In a case of mass murder over Lockerbie, Mr. Megrahi served less than 14 days per victim. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those victims today, for the ongoing pain and loss caused by this horrific attack.

Ahmad Vahidi, nominated Thursday by President Ahmadinejad to serve as Iran’s defense minister, is a suspected international terrorist sought by Interpol in connection with a deadly 1994 attack on a Jewish community center in Argentina.

Vahidi, a former commander of the elite unit of the Revolutionary Guard known as the Quds Force, was listed with four other Iranian officials on Interpol’s most-wanted list in 2007 at the request of Argentine prosecutors.

Kenneth Katzman, a senior analyst at the Congressional Research Service, said Vahidi is also suspected of having played a role in a 1996 attack on the Khobar Towers U.S. Air Force barracks in Saudi Arabia.

“Vahidi was commander of the Quds Force during the late 1980s to early 1990s, and his choice certainly sends a very strong signal that Ahmadinejad plans to continue, and maybe even accelerate, Iran’s material support for pro-Iranian parties and militias in the region,” Katzman said.

Vahidi’s “reputed intimate involvement in various acts of terrorism, particularly against Argentina and the United States, makes his selection especially flagrant,” said Kenneth Piernick, a former chief of the FBI’s Iran-Hizbullah unit.

“This does not look like an unclenched fist.” Malcolm Hoenlein, vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, said the elevation of Vahidi “is reflective of the hard-line nature of the new Cabinet.”

“This should heighten concerns about Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons,” he added.

Dalal Mughrabi and Khaled Abu-Usbah are seen as Palestinian heroes for having carried out the bus hijacking in 1978 in which 37 Israeli civilians, 12 of them children, were murdered.

Former Prime Minister Abu Alaa (Ahmad Qurei), who read the statement, is the current Chairman of Fatah Department for Recruitment and Organization.

Four Palestinians from the Kalkilya area have been arrested for the murder of Dr. Daniel Yaakobi, 59, the Israel Security Agency announced Wednesday.

Yaakobi’s body was found burned in the trunk of a car near Kalkilya on July 27, 2006.

One of the suspects, Tayun Tayun, a Fatah operative, said Yaakobi had brought his car to his brother Ahmad’s garage. He said he attacked and beat him with a wrench and a stick until he died.

Sharon Tovi, Yaakobi’s son-in-law, noted that “Danny was a doctor who helped everyone, both Jewish and Arab neighbors.”

Mahmoud Abbas, also known as Abu Mazen, engineered the “Black September” Terror Attack during the Munich Olympics, which killed 11 Israeli athletes and a U.S. citizen.  Like the filthy Arafat before him, Abbas/Mazen congratulated Hizbullah and all the resistance forces on their “victory” over Israel and on the return of “the heroes of freedom, the prisoners and the martyrs [to Lebanon].

Too bad the “international community” decided not only to meet Mahmoud Abbas’ request for $5.6 billion in aid, but to throw in almost $2 billion more. Why? Did the PA end its Jew-hating blood-lust terrorist ways?

The US government has been pushing very hard to give Mahmoud Abbas’s Al Fatah its own state, carved out of the Jewish state. Al Fatah (also known as ‘the PLO’) was trained in the 1950s by CIA-sponsored German Nazis.

Hamas TV has aired a short videotape that seems to show Fatah chief Mahmoud Abbas telling a security chief to “slaughter” Hamas’ men.

The snippet shows Abbas at a photo opportunity, shaking the hand of a man in uniform. Apparently confident that the audio would never be aired, Abbas asks him “are you the commander of the operational force?” and the man answers in the affirmative. Abbas then says one word forcefully: “itbakh!” – which is Arabic for the imperative “slaughter.”

Mahmoud Abbas/Abu Mazen yearns for death. The Muslim yearning for death is not limited to Hamas and has been inculcated primarily by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s ruling Fatah organization.  Via NY Times:

PA leader Mahmoud Abbas on Monday dismissed a demand by Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. Palestinian negotiators have long refused to recognize Israel’s Jewish character. In an attempt to bolster the Palestinian argument, Saeb Erekat, a senior Abbas aide and veteran negotiator, on Monday produced a copy of a letter signed by President Harry S Truman on May 14, 1948.

In its original form, it recognizes the provisional government of the new Jewish state, but the typed words “Jewish state” in the second paragraph have been crossed out and replaced with the handwritten “State of Israel.”

Shlomo Avineri, a professor of political science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, said Erekat was misinterpreting the American president’s intention. The Truman letter had been prepared hours before Israel declared its independence, before the new country had chosen its name. It was later corrected by a Truman adviser, Clark M. Clifford, after the declaration of independence in order to call the country by its name, not to deny its Jewish character.

FIVE GITMO DETAINEES THREATEN AMERICA WHILE A FORMER CELLMATE TAKES LEAD OF THE TALIBAN

The new head of the Taliban who is leading the fight against Americans in southern Afghanistan is a former prisoner at Guantanamo Bay. Now his goal is to slaughter the 17,000 additional troops that President Obama has sent to Afghanistan, according to the Associated Press.

“Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul, formerly Guantanamo prisoner No. 008, was among 13 Afghan prisoners released to the Afghan government in December 2007. Rasoul is now known as Mullah Abdullah Zakir, a nom de guerre that Pentagon and intelligence officials say is used by a Taliban leader who is in charge of operations against U.S. and Afghan forces in southern Afghanistan.”

Rasoul’s  “stated mission is to counter the U.S. troop surge” in Afghanistan, according to the AP.

Rasoul’s return to terrorism is a prime example of why Obama should not close the prison at Guantanamo Bay. What is he thinking when he knows that these terrorists are returning to the battlefield to kill Americans?

At the same time that Rasoul’s Taliban promotion hit the news, five other Gitmo prisoners said they are proud of their part in the slaughter of innocents on 9/11. Obama stopped the trial for these terrorists, but a judge released their statements.

“Killing you and fighting you, destroying you and terrorizing you … are all considered to be great legitimate duties in our religion,” said the five terrorists, one of whom is Khalid Sheik Mohammed the alleged 9/11 mastermind, who call themselves the “The 9/11 Shura Council,” which is the Arabic word for  advisory group.

Obama is making a truly fatal error by closing Gitmo. Please help Move America Forward stop the closure.

“The evidence is mounting that Obama’s order to close Gitmo endangers Americans, but his first priority should be protecting the American people,” MAF Executive Director Catherine Moy said. “Our troops will now have to deal with Rasoul and other former Gitmo prisoners because they were allowed to leave the prison, which is safe and humane.”

Even the AP admits that the revelation of Rasoul’s leadership position and intent to attack American troops hurts Obama’s plans to close Gitmo and send the prisoners to the United States or other countries. America released Rasoul to the Afghan government, which released him.

At least two Saudi detainees once held in Gitmo were released to Saudi Arabia for rehabilitation. Now they are al-Qaida members, National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair said.

“Mr. Obama has no concrete plans on what to do with these very dangerous prisoners, and that should alarm Americans,” Moy said. “The leader of the Taliban was set free in Afghanistan. The same thing can happen over and over if Obama closes Guantanamo Bay.”

Another six months of the same kind of cease-fire, which is what many nations at the UN demanded, and Hamas would have rockets capable of hitting Tel Aviv. And this is an organization explicitly committed to the destruction of Israel.

How many civilian casualties are “not disproportionate to” the value of avoiding the rocketing of Tel Aviv?

Al-Qaeda is using pedophile websites to plot terror attacks on Britain according to British Security Services.Al-Qaeda is using the sites due to the levels of security employed: paedophile sites are said to be password-protected and encrypted to avoid detection from police, which apparently makes them great for secretly plotting terrorist attacks as well.

A security source quoted in The Mirror said “Using child pornography sites appears to be al-Qaeda’s latest desperate attempt to avoid detection. Sadly, the high levels of secrecy, passwords and encryption demanded by paedophiles means their websites can offer good cover for terrorists.”

Pedophiles and terrorists: a snappy headline waiting to be had, but not really surprising either.

Want to open fire on a passing family sedan? How about setting off a bomb in a crowded pizzeria? How about beating in a 4 year old girl’s head with a rock? Or hijacking a jet plane and flying it into a crowded skyscraper killing thousands?
