“What really happened in Gaza was truly like a miracle,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, noted in a meeting with visiting Palestinian Islamic Jihad chief Ramadan Abdallah. The Supreme Leader again congratulated Palestinians on their victory over the Zionist regime’s army. Khamenei went on to say that the Zionist regime’s collapse has already begun. He reminded Palestinian resistance leaders that, as on the battleground, the Palestinians must insist on their political position to “force the enemy to retreat.” He expressed hope for a complete liberation of Palestinian lands and said he “strongly believes that the final victory will come in the not-too-distant future” if the resistance continues at this pace.

For his part, Ramadan Abdallah thanked Iran for its help to Palestinians, especially during the recent war in Gaza. He said the victory over the Zionist regime’s army was a “great strategic development” and promised “final victory” by the Palestinians.

Call it naivete. Call it Muslim identity politics. Whatever you want to call it, there is no doubt that Prez Obama was brought in to destroy Israel.  It is outrageous to the extreme that the whole world – including Prez Obama – capitulates to the idea that there can indeed be countries, nations, cities and neighborhoods where no Jews should live.  Via OneJerusalem:

The highlights of the [OBama] Administration’s objective in the Middle East are:

1. Forcing a deal between Israel and the Palestinians is an Administration priority. The quest for this unattainable objective is receiving encouragement from former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice who is telling the new Administration that she was within inches of achieving an agreement. This piece of fiction is being used to justify placing this foreign policy objective at the head of the foreign policy list.

2. Special envoy Mitchel’s mission to the Middle East is slated to bring results in the near term

3. The Administration is looking to force an agreement from the top down even though the Palestinian Authority does not represent the Palestinian people. Netanyahu’s alternative of creating rapid economic growth in Palestinian areas has been all but rejected by the new Administration.

4. This means that the future of Jerusalem is in jeopardy. The quest for a two state solution includes forcing Israel to divide the Holy City.

5. The Administration appears to have accepted as fact that Iran will attain nuclear energy. Its goal is get the Iranians to produce fuel for “peaceful” purposes. Even if Iran, following North Korea, agrees to limit the production of its nuclear fuel. The fact is it would take only 2-3 months to turn “peaceful” nuclear energy into weapons grade heavy fuel.

The Obama Administration’s tilt toward the Muslim world can be seen in its most influential think tank: The Center for American Progress.

The Center’s President is John Podesta who co-chaired Obama’s Transition Team. Policy after policy (both foreign and domestic) which the Center has proposed has been adopted by the Obama Administration. Confirmation of many of the points made in the above briefing can be found in the Middle East Project of the Center. In its latest Middle East Bulletin the center publishes an article that criticizes Israel’s defensive action in Gaza and it documents the day to day activities of Mitchel’s trip to the region. All the signs coming out of the Obama camp in regard to Israel are very troubling.

Next week’s Israeli elections will bring a new government which will leaned on to come to an agreement with the Palestinians (which may include Hamas). Today, the United States Ambassador to Israel was asking if Israel would negotiate with Hamas because Washington wanted to know. This situation makes it imperative that the Israeli people use their election to send a loud and clear message that Israel is united behind the concept that it will not capitulate to terrorists and that it will defend itself against its sworn enemy Iran. A clear electoral victory for the Right in Israel will help the next Israeli Prime Minister to stand up to pressure from the Obama Administration.

The Muslim palestinian arabs pictured below attacked Christian children in Charlotte, NC.  Those Muslim palestinian arabs threatened jihad by stating that “they will pay for their violence”.

Real Americans don’t talk like that.

If anyone wants to appreciate why the West views with such suspicion the weapons programs of Muslim states such as Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, they need look no further than the intolerance exhibited by those Muslims in Charlotte.

Now, what those un-American Muslims don’t understand is that:

• Israel is a legitimate and sovereign nation.
• Israel is a nation restored righteously to her indigenous people the Jews who have RETURNED to their homeland.
• It was a RETURN, not an INVASION.
• Israel was voted imprimatur by the United Nations with legal votes.
• Israel was attacked five times by Arabs in pre-meditated wars of aggression.
• Israel correctly defended herself because that’s what sovereing nations do.
• Arabs started wars; Arabs suffer the consequences.

I had a feeling that the group responsible was a little too proud of themselves to keep it quiet and it appears that I was right. Here is an excerpt from the blog article titled “Jan. 11 Free Palestine Protesters Shut Down Pro-U.S./Israeli War Rally,” by David Dixon of the “Charlotte Free Gaza Movement” as published on “Action Center for Justice.”

Charlotte NC – On Jan. 11, over 100 people, mostly Muslim & Palestinian, including many students & children, marched through uptown Charlotte to a Pro-Israel Rally & held a loud protest across the street.

Chants included “Shame, Shame Israel,” “Stop The Killing, Stop The Crime,” “Free Free Palestine,” “Baby Killers You Will See, Palestine Will Be Free,” “Olmert, Olmert You Should Know, Back To Palestine We Will Go,” “Gaza Gaza Don’t You Cry, Palestine Will Never Die,” “Occupation Is A Crime, Free, Free Palestine,” “Stop Killing Children,” “Stop Supporting Israel,” “From The River To The Sea, Palestine Will Be Free,” “Long Live Palestine,” and others.

It goes on to say:

Free Palestine protesters began taunting them with loud chants of “Baby Killers Came To Town, We Came & Shut Them Down!” After the Pro-Israel Rally abruptly dispersed, protesters chanted, “The People United Will Never Be Defeated.”

They then marched through uptown, chanting loudly, & held a spirited rally at Bobcat Arena where some type of an evangelical christian rival was going on.

First of all, I believe the word they were shooting for was “revival” and not “rival”-but who knows? Second of all, it’s nice to know they are so blatantly proud of themselves. I guess they decided that going all the way and saying something like “we attacked a bunch of innocent children who had zero to do with any protests that may be going on around town and were simply trying to attend a worship service,” would be a little over the top.

Apparently the group has already selected their next group of victims and have the blessing of various other local and national groups:

The Catholic church observed that “Saturday’s demonstration contained elements that were alien to faith and religion.” Actually, depending on which “religion” one is talking about, these “elements” — euphemism for rage, hate, intolerance, supremacism, intimidation, violence — may well be part of it.

Islamic leaders in Italy are to apologise to the Roman Catholic Church after a pro-Palestinian march ended in Muslims burning Israeli flags and praying in front of Milan Cathedral.

The sight of ranks of men and boys kneeling in prayer in the piazza directly in front of the Gothic building incensed many Italians, with photographs carried on the front pages of many newspapers.[...]Mario Borghezio, who is also an MEP, said: “The prayer to Allah recited by thousands of fanatical Muslims is an act of intimidation, a slap in the face for the city of Milan, which must remain Christian.” Muslim leaders now want to meet with Milan’s archbishop, Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi, to “clarify” what happened at the weekend, when the demonstrators diverted from their previously agreed route and staged the impromptu prayer to Mecca.

While trying not to stoke the controversy, the Catholic Church was deeply uneasy with the mass prayer outside the Duomo, which is the world’s largest Gothic cathedral and the third-largest Roman Catholic church in the world, after St Peter’s in Rome and Seville cathedral.

An editorial on the website of the Diocese of Milan said prayer was a universal human right but that Saturday’s demonstration contained elements that were alien to faith and religion.

Around 5,000 Muslims, most of them immigrants to Italy, took part in the march, with some carrying banners depicting the Star of David defaced by Nazi swastikas.

Many take part in the festival celebrations by having Christmas turkey dinners.

Decorating the house, purchasing Christmas trees or having Christmas turkey meals are completely prohibited by Allah.

Many still practise this corrupt celebration as a remembrance of the birth of Jesus.

How can a Muslim possibly approve or participate in such a practice that bases itself on the notion Allah has an offspring?

Another example of Iranian hubris and brogaddacio.  DEBKAfile has reported

that Iran has launched a three-stage rocket carrying a research lab, and Iran’s nuclear chief announced Iran now has more than 5,000 centrifuges operating at its uranium enrichment plant, flatly defying UN resolutions.

Explorer-2, a three-stage rocket, spent 40 minutes in space; the space lab aboard was parachuted to land. DEBKAfile’s military sources report that this was the first time Iran had launched a three-stage rocket like the Israeli Shavit.

This is significant because military experts noted that the same long-range ballistic technology applies equally to putting satellites in space and launching weapons capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

Unfortunately, say DEBKAfile’s military sources, Israeli leaders appear to have fallen behind the alarming events rushing forward in Iran: In a single week, the UN nuclear watchdog reported Tehran had stocked enough enriched uranium to make its first A-Bomb, while US analysts expect the Iranian to be able to make three bombs by the end of 2009.

The Kavosh-2 launch shows Iran may have already perfected the missile technology to deliver warheads. However, instead of addressing this peril, defense minister Ehad Barak is mired in a huge effort to hold back a military operation in the Gaza Strip, keep his Labor party from crumbling and battling the Hebron Jewish community.

Earlier this week Jordan’s King publicly embraced Hamas and today Jordan’s Foreign Minister warned Israel’s Ambassador against a planned archaeological dig in Jerusalem because:

“This would also lead to a new violent conflict in the Middle East because Jerusalem is a red line for Muslims and Arabs.”

That the Jordanians have suddenly become energetic opponents of Israel is troubling. It could mean they have calculated that being on Israel’s side against radical Islam is a losing proposition. There is no doubt that Israel’s policy of appeasing its enemies is emboldening its enemies and causing its friends to rethink their alliances.

It is also the height of Chutzpah for Jordan to threaten Israel over Jerusalem. Remember it is Jordan that kept Jews out of the Old City from 1948 to 1968.
