Al-Qaeda Plans for Israel War

Posted by smoothstone

Via Daily Beast:

Al-Qaeda is warning its supporters and sympathizers to prepare for a new war which will pit Israel against Iran.

Al-Qaeda’s franchise in Yemen, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), issued an audio message this month by its second-in-command, Saeed al-Shehri, who tells jihadists that he expects the Iranian Shia regime to try to take advantage of an Israeli attack on its nuclear facilities by seizing the holy cities of Mecca and Medina after blaming Saudi Arabia for helping Israel attack.

Shehri was held in Guantanamo for six years before being sent back to his native Saudi Arabia and then fleeing to Yemen to help set up AQAP.

AQAP demonstrated that it can reach beyond Yemen to carry out its plans when it dispatched the suicide bomber who tried to blow up Northwest Flight 253 last Christmas.

Hizbullah Is Readying Lebanon for War

Posted by smoothstone

Via The National-Abu Dhabi:

In the recent tension in southern Lebanon between villagers and the UN force UNIFIL, Hizbullah saw an opportunity to send a warning to the international peacekeepers that their freedom to maneuver was limited. Initially, the Lebanese army and government failed to back up the UN. After the angry response of states contributing soldiers to UNIFIL, Lebanon backtracked, vowing to continue cooperating with the UN. However, the incidents confirmed that Hizbullah has substantial control over the Lebanese army, particularly the army’s intelligence services. Hizbullah’s freedom to act both politically and militarily is essential to its role as an extension of Iran on the Israeli border. At a broader level, the quarrel with UNIFIL may also be seen as an Iranian reply to the recent passage of Security Council sanctions against Tehran.

Gaza flotilla participants invoked killing of Jews

Posted by smoothstone

On the day before the Gaza flotilla confronted the Israeli navy, Al-Jazeera TV documented the pre-battle atmosphere created by men on board the flotilla, who chanted a well-known Islamic battle cry invoking the killing and defeat of Jews in battle:

“[Remember] Khaibar, Khaibar, oh Jews! The army of Muhammad will return!”

Khaibar is the name of the last Jewish village defeated by Muhammad’s army in 628. Many Jews were killed in that battle, which marked the end of Jewish presence in Arabia. There are Muslims who see that as a precursor to future wars against Jews. At gatherings and rallies of extremists, this chant is often heard as a threat to Jews to expect to be defeated and killed again by Muslims.

Al-Jazeera also interviewed a woman who said that the flotilla participants’ goal was “one of two happy endings: either Martyrdom or reaching Gaza.”

Video: Close-Up Footage of “Free Gaza” Mavi Marmara Passengers Attacking IDF Soldiers

Posted by smoothstone

Here is forensic proof that what happened on the “Free Gaza” Flotilla is not what genocidal jihadists want you to see. Check out the video below of what REALLY happened:

Video taken by IDF naval boat shows the passengers of the Mavi Marmara, one of the ships in the ‘Free Gaza’ Flotilla, violently attacking IDF soldiers who were trying to board the ship after having sent repeated requests for the boat to change course.

Large groups of passengers surrounded soldiers and beat them with metal poles and chairs, and threw one soldier over the side of the ship. Some passengers grabbed pistols from the IDF soldiers and opened fire. As a result of the attacks, seven IDF soldiers were injured, and nine of the passengers were killed.

The ‘Free Gaza’ Flotilla had publicly insisted on their non-violent intentions, however their violent attack on the IDF soldiers was clearly premeditated. They had knives, metal rods, firebombs and other items ready to use.

Genocidal-minded jihadists and their supporters purposefully provoke Israel

Posted by smoothstone

Via JihadWatch:

An incident provoked by genocide-minded jihadists gains traction among those anxious to demonize Israel and see those jihadists as victims. “Mideast: Flotilla; Israel’s Crimes Could Lead To War, Syria,” from ANSAmed, May 31 (thanks to Insubria):

(ANSAmed) – BEIRUT, MAY 31 – In its first official statement on the Israeli attack on the humanitarian flotilla headed for Gaza, Syria called the operation a “barbaric” move. Quoted by Lebanese press agency Nna, President Bashar al Assad and Lebanese Premier Saad Hariri harshly condemned the “crime committed by Israel with this barbaric attack on defenceless civilians”. The joint statement quoted by Nna continues that Syria and Lebanon “invite the international community to take measures as soon as possible to end Israel’s crimes, which could lead to war in the Middle East with repercussions far beyond the regional borders”.(ANSAmed).

Turkish Relief Fund Involved in Gaza Flotilla Has Radical Islamic Orientation

Posted by smoothstone

Via Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center:

The Turkish IHH, which plays a central role in organizing the Gaza flotilla, is a humanitarian relief fund with a radical Islamic, anti-Western orientation. Besides legitimate philanthropic activities, it supports radical Islamic networks including Hamas, and at least in the past, even global jihad elements.

IHH was outlawed by Defense Minister Ehud Barak in 2008 because of its role in Hamas’ global fund-raising.

As part of its connections with the global jihad, IHH supported jihadist terrorist networks in Bosnia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and Chechnya. This was manifested by logistic support for the transfer of weapons and money.

In 2006 the Danish Institute for International Studies reported that in the past IHH had connections with al-Qaeda and global jihad operatives. According to the study, Turkish authorities received information in December 1997 that senior IHH figures had purchased automatic weapons from radical Islamic organizations.

The office of the organization in Istanbul was raided and activists were arrested. During the raid, Turkish security forces found weapons, explosives, instructions for making IEDs and a flag with a jihad message.

IHH purchased three of the nine ships in the flotilla – a passenger ship and two cargo ships.

On May 21, Muhammad Kaya, head of IHH office in Gaza, said there was a plan to send flotillas to Gaza every month.

Palestinian child sings about victory over Israel and the US

Posted by smoothstone

Via Palestinian Media Watch:

In the latest episode of the weekly children’s program Tomorrow’s Pioneers on Hamas TV, a Palestinian boy chose to sing the following children’s song:

“Daddy gave me a present, a machine gun and a rifle.
When I am a big boy, I will join the Liberation Army.
The army of [Izz Al-Din] Al-Qassam (Hamas),
which has taught us how to defend our homeland.
Our homeland is precious, precious.
We [are] victorious, victorious over America and Israel.
[Improvises:] Son of a bitch – what brought you to this land?”

Netanyahu: Israel Must Prevent Rockets from Being Placed on Our Borders

Posted by smoothstone

Via Prime  Minister’s Office:

Prime Minister Netanyahu told the Foreign Press Association on Jan. 20: “In the last few years…those of you who have been in Israel have been under missile and rocket fire….Imagine a country somewhere the size of Belgium and Luxembourg sustaining 12,000 rockets and you understand, of course, the nature of our problem and the fact is that we are surrounded by an ever-growing arsenal of rockets placed in the Iranian-supported enclaves, to the north and to the south….The problem is to prevent them from being placed on our borders.”

“Where is the problem that Israel has vis-a-vis Lebanon? It is not on the Lebanon-Israel border. It is on the Lebanon-Syrian border. Where’s the problem that we face vis-a-vis Gaza? It is not on the Israel-Gaza seam line. It’s not on that border. It’s in the twelve-kilometer strip between Gaza and Egypt. That…creates a monumental problem – a security problem for Israel….Therefore, in addition to defensive means, we also must ensure that in that entry to the contiguous areas next to Israel, there is a way to effectively stop the infiltration of rockets and other weaponry. And I believe that…in the case of a future settlement with the Palestinians, this will require an Israeli presence on the eastern side of a prospective Palestinian state.”

“In Lebanon we had an international guarantee – UN Resolution 1701 – an insurance policy signed by the entire international community and you know that that unfortunately has failed, in fact it’s failed miserably and Hizbullah is just pouring in weapons, more and more weapons to fire into Israel….We had also an understanding with other countries when we left Gaza about the Philadelphi corridor…but you can see that there is massive infiltration continuing all the time. We can’t afford to have that replicated a third time in the center part of the country that dominates our cities, dominates our population, and dominates our airfield….We have to have something to interdict the inflow of rockets and missiles and other weaponry into a prospective Palestinian state.”

British Military Officer: Hamas “Committing War Crimes”

Posted by smoothstone

From Jewish Chorincle via DailyAlert:

Gulf War veteran Col. Tim Collins visited the town of Sderot in Israel and Gaza for BBC Newsnight and said he believes Hamas is committing war crimes. He was shown around Sderot bomb shelters and the police station, where he inspected a rocket from Gaza and pronounced it to be an indiscriminate weapon. While in Gaza, he inspected a mosque bombed by the Israelis. In its cellar, he found evidence of secondary explosions.

He said: “It’s my opinion that the only thing that could have caused these explosions is that explosives were stored in this cellar. It’s the only legitimate explanation.”

Collins expressed his shock at posters with Hamas’ badge on them, showing rockets heading towards Sderot.

This is a war crime by any standard,” he said.
