The hyena nations are circling Israel. Via JCPA. h/t DailyAlert:

In 13 essays and interviews, this volume lifts the humanitarian mask from the elites of the Nordic countries, whose anti-Israel motifs are similar to those of classic anti-Semitism.

The 256-page book, now available on-line without charge, discusses the attitudes of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland toward Israel and the Jews.

Norwegian Doctor who slammed Gaza violence supported 9/11 attacks

Posted by smoothstone

Norwegian doctor Mads Gilbert, who volunteered in Gaza during the successful and righteous IDF offensive, gave dozens of interviews to the Jew-hating international media as an ‘impartial observer,’ despite his past support for al-Qaeda’s terror attacks.

YnetNews reports:

The only Western doctor allowed into the Strip during the fighting is a member of the Norwegian socialist party Red, and a man who in the past expressed support for al-Qaeda’s September 11 attack on the World Trade Center in New York.

In an interview to Dagbladet newspaper in wake of the terror attacks, Gilbert said: “The attack on New York did not come as a surprise with the politics the West has followed the last decades. I am upset by the terrorist attack, but I am at least as upset over the suffering that the US has caused. It is in this context that 5000 dead has to be seen.

Jerusalem Symposium Discusses Scandinavian Anti-Semitism

Posted by smoothstone

Via Ha’aretz:

“Norway is the most anti-Semitic country in Scandinavia,” Dr. Manfred Gerstenfeld, a scholar of Western European anti-Semitism, told a discussion on Scandinavian anti-Semitism and Israel-hatred hosted on Tuesday by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs.

Gerstenfeld presented cartoons from the Norwegian mainstream press and noted, “There is something wrong with a society which is willing to accept these Nazi cartoons. With a Jewish population of only 1,300, Norway has led the pack in anti-Semitism before, during and after WWII.” Zvi Mazel, a former ambassador to Sweden, spoke of a “deep-rooted” anti-Semitism in Sweden, while Dr. Efraim Zuroff, director of the Wiesenthal Center in Israel – which co-sponsored the event – addressed Norway and Sweden’s failure to prosecute Nazi war criminals.

Norway finances Israel-hate

The following article in a Norwegian daily reports on PMW Director Itamar Marcus’ presentation of a report to members of the Norwegian Parliament which linked Norwegian funding to PA hate propaganda:

Norway finances Israel-hate
Dagen Magazinet (Norwegian daily), Oct. 23, 2008

The director of Palestinian Media Watch, Itamar Marcus, met Wednesday with members of Parliament of the Christian Democratic Party and the Progress Party to whom he presented a new, detailed and sensational report about how Norwegian money is spent on the official hate propaganda against Israel.

With example after example Marcus documents how Fatah and Hamas use children’s TV to spread anti-Israeli hate propaganda, to glorify suicide bombers and to encourage children to follow in the footsteps of the terrorists in order to “liberate” the “occupied” Palestine.

Controlled by Abbas
“The TV broadcasts are controlled from the top, which means that Fatah’s children’s TV is controlled by President Mahmoud Abbas. A lot of the Norwegian aid of 790 million kroner in 2008 is channeled to precisely President Abbas and the running of his office in Ramallah. The propaganda we see today had not existed were it not approved from the top,” says Itamar Marcus.

He shows one video after another with examples of anti Israeli propaganda in children’s TV, music videos and descriptions of geography and history in
Palestinian schoolbooks.

“Jonas Gahr Støre does not know what the Norwegian money is used for,” is the clear message from Marcus. That stands in stark contrast to a recent response by the Foreign Minister to a question he received in Parliament from Ingebrigt Sørfonn (Chr. Dem) on Sept 26:

Støre’s idealisation
“It seems that this type of feature [glorifying a terrorist] in a children’s program is not common and that this [PA-Fatah] channel cannot be said to engage in indoctrination of children or denying Israel’s right to exist. Fatah and the Palestinian Authority are prepared to find a peaceful solution to the conflict with Israel,” said (FM) Støre.

Itamar Marcus presents recent examples to the contrary, most of them from children’s programs of Fatah … from the last few months, which use a rhetoric that seems taken directly from the persecution of the Jews during WW2: Israel intentionally spreads AIDS and drugs, burns children in ovens, attack pregnant women, conduct dangerous medical experiments on prisoners and has released giant rats in Jerusalem. Jesus is made a Muslim believer and a Palestinian. Suicide bombers are glorified and children are encouraged to follow in their footsteps. Israel does not exist on any map of the Middle East, or should be erased from the surface of the earth.

“Their purpose is to get hold of children while they are young and shape them in the way they want. No, it does not seem like Jonas Gahr Støre knows what he helps financing,” says Itamar Marcus.
