Want to open fire on a passing family sedan? How about setting off a bomb in a crowded pizzeria? How about beating in a 4 year old girl’s head with a rock? Or hijacking a jet plane and flying it into a crowded skyscraper killing thousands?

If you’re an Islamist terrorist savage, the one thing you can count on is always being the victim.

A Hamas video circulated on one of the terror group’s main internet forums and featured on the Israeli ‘Blue Eye’ website claims to show the results of abuse and torture of Hamas men by Fatah security forces in Judea and Samaria. Pictures of torture victims and corpses are shown among scenes which seem to show Fatah gunmen attacking Hamas’s supporters. The audio is an Arabic-language interview with a Hamas spokesman, against a somber musical background theme.

Although it is imperative and of the utmost importance to identify and pursue muslim terror cells and destroy them, the decompartmentalization of them into tiny minority sub-groups dilutes the magnitude and horror of Islamic global imperialism and its monumental and catastrophic threat against the civilized world. h/t Daily Alert. Suspicions in the devastating Mumbai terror attacks are centering on Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistani-based jihadi terror organization whose objectives include destroying India and Israel, and establishing an Islamic caliphate.

On Sunday, Indian Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria said the only gunman captured by police admitted the group was behind the attacks and had intended to hit even more targets.

Lashkar-e-Taiba - or Army of the Pure or Righteous - is the armed wing of a Pakistani-based religious organization founded in 1989. The organization is banned in India and Pakistan.

During the 1990s, the group received instruction and funding from Pakistan’s intelligence agency in exchange for a pledge to target Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir and to train Muslim extremists on Indian soil, according to the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations.

The group is suspected of being involved in the December 2001 attack on New Delhi’s Parliament and the 2006 Mumbai train bombings.

Since 2002 when the government of Pakistan banned Lashkar-i-Taiba, the group has expanded its membership, its operational reach and its influence among radical Islamist networks seeking to spark a revolution in South Asia.

Inside Pakistan, Lashkar still operates training camps for militants and runs a large charitable and social-services organization that has been embraced by Pakistani officials.

Some of its fighters have traveled to Iraq and East Africa, and it has nurtured a mutually advantageous alliance with al-Qaeda.

One of the British suicide bombers in the July 7, 2005, London transit attacks spent time at a Lashkar-affiliated religious school in Pakistan.

According to the respected journalist and diplomat Husain Haqqani, who is now Pakistan’s ambassador to the U.S., Lashkar-e-Taiba is a jihadi group of Wahhabi persuasion, “backed by Saudi money and protected by Pakistani intelligence services.”

In retrospect, whoever reported this intel back in September was correct.

This is the only surviving gunman of the massacre in Mumbai. Seconds after this picture was taken, 21-year-old Azam Amir Kasav began to kill.

He and the terror cell’s leader began their attacks at the city’s Chhatrapati Shivaji rail station.

They later hijacked two cars, before police caught them. During two days of questioning, Kashmiri-born Kasav, who used the alias Ajmal Kasab, told police: ‘I have no regrets’.

He is said to have told officers the cell was to seek out ‘white targets, preferably British and American’.

He revealed that the ten terrorists, who were highly trained in marine assault and crept into the city by boat, had planned to blow up the Taj Mahal Palace hotel after first executing British and American tourists and then taking hostages. He then added that their intention was to kill 5,000 people.

As it is, their deadly attacks have left close to 200 confirmed dead, with the toll expected to rise to nearly 300 once the hotel has been fully searched by security forces.

Once inside Nair Hospital, Kasav, who suffered only minor injuries, told medical staff: ‘I do not want to die. Please put me on saline.‘

And Kasav described how he and an accomplice sprayed machine-gun fire around a busy railway station, killing dozens of people, before intending to move to the exclusive district of Malabar Hill, where they planned to ‘take VIPs hostage’.

According to the account of Kasav’s interrogation, given by police sources, the terrorists were trained over five months in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, then had a month off before the attacks. At some stage, they also received intensive instruction in ‘marine assault‘ operations.

Kasav and the nine other terrorists, who communicated using BlackBerry mobiles, began their journey to Mumbai on November 21.

Initially unarmed, they left an isolated beach near Karachi in a small boat, before being picked up the following day by a larger vessel.

At this point they were each given eight hand grenades, an AK-47 rifle, an automatic pistol and ammunition. And in anticipation of a lengthy siege, they also carried dried fruit.

Kasav told police that the group then hijacked a fishing trawler bearing the name Kuber near the maritime boundary between Pakistan and India.

Four of its crew are missing while the fifth has been found dead, apparently beheaded. Its owner and his brother are being questioned by police.

On November 23, after reaching Porbandar in the Indian state of Gujarat, 310 nautical miles from Mumbai, the insurgents were intercepted by two coastguard officers. The group hoisted a white flag and allowed the two men to board their boat.

According to Kasav, one of the militants then attacked one of the officers, slitting his throat and throwing him overboard. The other man was forced to help the group reach their destination before being executed as the vessel drew near to Mumbai.

For most of the journey, Kasav’s friend, 25-year-old Abu Ismail, a trained sailor, steered the vessel using GPS equipment. Three speedboats met the Kuber a mile and a half from the Mumbai seafront on Wednesday. After waiting for the light to fade, they moved off, later transferring to two inflatable dinghies to go ashore.

While his colleagues were executing hostages at the Taj, Kasav and Ismail first opened fire with their assault rifles at around 10.20pm, killing dozens of people standing at Chhatrapati Shivaji railway station.

Then they hijacked a police 4×4, killing the two officers inside. Kasab told investigators they continued their killing spree by attacking a petrol station and blowing up a taxi before being stopped.

‘I have done right,’ he told investigators. ‘I have no regrets.’

One police source said: ‘He [Kasav] was telling our people this in a most dispassionate way and responded to the horror their faces betrayed by shrugging his shoulders, as if it was all of no real consequence.’

Sources said tests on Kamal’s blood and urine showed he was under the influence of drugs to help keep him alert during the long battles with Indian security forces.

Officials are saying that eight or nine people were murdered at the Jewish center. Six bodies have been identified so far – five Israelis and a Jewish Mexican national.

Daniel B. Kennedy, Robert J. Homant, and Erick Barnes are the authors of “An Insider View of the Sleeper Cell Terrorist: A Face Validity Study,” Journal of Applied Security Research, 3(3–4), 2008: 325-50, based on the research of Daniel Pipes, who argues the importance of sleeper cells and then lists 42 tell-tale signs suggesting how to identify sleepers.

Kennedy, Homant & Barnes tested those signs by turning to “a diverse sample of Muslim ‘insiders’ to evaluate the 42 characteristics listed by Pipes as being possible indicators of a sleeper” (where an insider is defined as “anyone who grew up in the Islamic religion and culture, and has some knowledge of what it means to be a Muslim in a Westernized society”)

The 42 traits that Pipes lists are subdivided into six categories:

• connection with foreign countries (4 items);
• making preparations for (terrorist) operations (9 items);
• displaying certain attitudes, such as “accusing the West of trying to destroy Islam” (p. 153) (11 items);
• identity problems (e.g., “cover story that does not ring true,” p. 153) (5 items)
• questionable social activities (e.g., financial support for militant Islamic groups) (6 items);
• miscellaneous pointers, such as “a preference for cash transactions” (p. 154) (7 items).

The following is a table of weights that were assigned to answers on questionnaires that subjects were given:

• Background: Arabic is the person’s native language
• Foreign connection: Came to U.S. from a country where a violent Islamic group is known to operate in a widespread fashion.
• Preparations: Detonators for explosives found in garage
• Attitudes: Excuses terrorist actions against the U.S. because they were provoked by U. S. policies.
• Identity Problems: Falsely claims to be a French citizen
• Social Activities: Attends services at a local mosque known for the militancy of its Imam.
• Miscellaneous: Lives in a multicultural, “anything goes” sort of neighborhood.
• Control: Works in a department store selling clothing.

Oh, and if you didn’t hear me say it before, I’ll say it again.

What happened in Mumbai was not an aberration.  It is the Muslim terrorist standard.

It was Thanksgiving.  It got everyone’s worldwide attention.

It could have been revenge on the part of Pakistan against India for .having blown up a pirated Thai fishing vessel stolen by Somalian pirates.

Or it could not have been.

Muslims are involved in 25 of some 30 conflicts going on in the world: in Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Cyprus, East Timor, India, Indonesia (2 provinces), Kashmir, Kazakastan, Kosovo, Kurdistan, Macedonia, the Middle East, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sudan, Russia-Chechnya, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uganda and Uzbekistan.

Doesn’t this mean that extremist Islam is the norm and normal Islam is extremely rare?

And so the spin and damage control begins and Fareed Zakaria, editor of Newsweek International, is leading the campaign. Even though the murdered are not yet buried and the total number of murdered are not yet tallied, Fareed Zakaria has written the following about the Islamic terror attack in Mumbai in this week’s Newsweek. He blames the attack on poverty.  But being a practicing Muslim himself, he wouldn’t have the guts to blame it on anything else.  This is Muslim identity politics at work.  What’s worst, is that America still swallows the pablum that Islam is a religion of peace in spite of the 1,400 years of empirical evidence that it is not:  Via Newsweek:

One misconception is the assumption that these attacks were aimed primarily at foreigners. Look at their targets.

The two hotels they attacked - the Taj and the Oberoi - are old, iconic Indian hotels. It used to be true that these places were affordable only by Westerners, but today they are filled with Indian businessmen.

If the aim was to hit Americans or other Westerners, the big American chains all have hotels there, and there are many more distinctly American targets.

One of the untold stories of India is that the Muslim population has not shared in the boom the country has enjoyed over the last ten years. There’s enough alienation out there that there are locals who can be drawn in to plots.

That tends to be a pattern, from Madrid to Casablanca to Bali - some hard-core jihadis who indoctrinate alienated locals they can seduce.

It is outrageous that Zakaria would print such a falsehood.  The Islamic terrorists in Mumbai attacked famous sites like the Taj hotel precisely because foreigners were inside.

The Muslim terrorists reportedly asked hostages their nationality. Among those that were held captive include Americans, British, Italians, Swedes, Canadians, Yemenis, New Zealanders, Spaniards, Turks, a Singaporean and Israelis.  Not foreigners?  Shyeah, riiiiight.

Of course, Fareed Zakaria’s article does not explain why innocent Jews at Nariman House, the Jewish resident center in Mumbai were murdered in cold blood, but it doesn’t matter because the spin has begun.

Smooth Stone expresses our deepest sympathy to the nation of India on this tragic day in their history where muslim barbarians have once again chosen to kill in the name of their false god.

May the real G-d of Israel avenge the deaths of the innocents in India, Israel and the United States.  Amen.

If Israel is responsible for Muslim wrath, tell us, Muslim terrorist apologists, what Israel did to encourage Syria to swallow Lebanon, to encourage Saddam Hussein to unleash a bloodbath against Iran, to encourage Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait, to encourage Kuwait to expel hundreds of thousands of “palestinians”, to encourage the Taliban to destroy the Bamiyan Buddha statues in Afghanistan, to encourage the slaughter of Black Christians in the Sudan, to encourage the bombings in Bali that killed 202 people, to encourage church bombings in Pakistan, to blow up 200 Indians on the railroad system and to blow up India today.

Blame Islam.  Grow a set of balls and put the blame where it belongs.

Islam is nothing more than a project to demonize non-muslims. Your founder, your own historic records, and your present followers have done more than a good job on that one.

Islam is a collectivist faith. It is opposed to the expressed will of the people, and instead favors the will of Allah, as expressed in the Koran and glossed by the components — Hadith and Sira — of the Sunna. It is opposed to individual liberties. It is opposed to freedom of speech, it is opposed to freedom of speech about religion. It is opposed to full legal equality for women. It is opposed, wherever it comes to power the equal treatment of Muslims and non-Muslims. The tenets of Islam, as expressed in the Koran flatly contradict the legal and political institutions of this country, and many of its social arrangements as well.

Non-Muslims are not brought up to undo the legal, political and traditional institutions of the United States.

As for what everyone else these days think of Islam, based on their knowledge of history and often from personal experience, read John Quincy Adams, John Ledyard, William Eaton and Mordechai Noah. Read them all.

We have every damn right to deconstruct the propaganda that Islam is peaceful and that the Israeli “occupation” is the cause of all the strife in the world.
