The 9/11 MoSque

Posted by smoothstone

Look, I’m gonna tell you this:  I can’t stand listening to Obama when he talks.  Aside from his nauseating left-wing Muslim identity politics, I can’t stand how he pronounces the letter S.  Aside from the fact that he’s an arrogant, street-talking, finger-pointing, condescending, socialist sibilant thug (sibilant meanS that all hiS S’S are Slightly AcCentuated in the higher frequenCieS.  Listen to the fraud the next time he pronounceS the letter S, it’S enough to peel paint off a wall) listening to him talk makes me want to puke.   He SoundS like a hiSSing Snake (appropriately) or a poorly fitted denture-wearer.

So, when he talkS about “The MoSque”, and how thiS country Should be tolerant of all religionS and blah blah blah iS not the point.

No one is diScuSSing whether MuSlimS have the right to build moSqueS.  That’S not the IsSue.  It’S that MuSlimS should not be building the MoSque where they are building it to be patterned after what the The World Trade Center looked like and so close to Hallowed Ground. I don’t care that the proposed mosque is 4 blocks away.

See, the point is that this soon-to-be Islamic Center is a typically “in-your-face” action taken by a radical Islamic practitioner who purposely chose this location to promote his radical view of Islam.  He knew the reaction he was going to get and in fact, counted on it, before going forward with his proposed “Islam is religion-of-peace” project.

Such Islamists rarely make such moves without careful consideration and pre-determined calculations.

This proposed mosque’s site was INTENTIONALLY CHOSEN as to dot the I over Islam and celebrate the “victory” of Islam over the Great Satan via the destruction of the Twin Towers.

Here is how the proposed9/11 Mosque at Ground Zero will look like from the outside.  Looks like the World Trade Tower.

In case anyone has forgotten what Islam succeeded with on 9/11, the following video documents what happened that morning when 19 devout muslims, soldiers of allah, attacked the United States of America, with the goal of destroying and conquering the West’s greatest power to install the universal caliphate.  This video specifically documents the Jumpers. The images of the Jumpers should be enough to rattle you.   The attack on the World Trade Center was one of the most observed catastrophes in history, yet most Americans have allowed the images of that day to become diluted and have allowed conspiracies that it was an inside job to dominate what Muslims themselves conspired to accomplish that dreadful day.

Those that fell or jumped from the towers were, briefly, its most public victims.  You don’t need to play it with the sound on.  Warning: Graphic Images.  Please say a prayer for the murdered.

Holy crap

If Muslims are against Zionism, then they should stop touting palestinianism.  The question that Muslims must answer is why are only Muslims entitled to self-determination?  What the Jew-hating international community fails to remember is that both Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews were residents of the Mandate of Palestine — therefore,  Muslims have no absolute, natural right to “the land” nor to self-determination without the reciprocal absolute natural right of the Palestinian Jew.  Palestinian Arabs can not veto the “rights” of the Palestinian Jew since the Palestinian Jew had a prior right to create a national existence in the lands of the Mandate of Palestine thousands of years before Islam was even invented.  Read below for another example of Muslim hubris.  Via MEMRI:

In an interview with the weekly Kul Al-Arab, which is published in Israel, Mas’oud Ghanaim, member of the United Arab List (Ra’am-Ta’al) in the Israeli Knesset, from the southern branch of the Islamic Movement, called for establishing a Great Islamic Caliphate that will include Israel, and said that all means were valid for defending Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa mosque. Ghanaim also expressed support for the Iran-Syria-Hizbullah axis, and called for recognizing the legitimacy of the Hamas government in Gaza.

The following are excerpts from the interview:

“…Q: As an Islamist, do you believe that there is a need to establish an Islamic state or Islamic regime in Palestine and in the Arab and Islamic homeland?

“A: There is a need for the return of the Islamic Caliphate, and I think that this is the ideal solution to the weakness, collapse, and crumbling afflicting the Arabs and Muslims… I think that a [new] Islamic caliphate is [also] in the interest of the Jews themselves, since their golden age as Jews came during the [medieval] Islamic Caliphate.

“Q: What are your conclusions about our people’s Nakba [i.e. the results of the 1948 war], and what is the solution?”

“A: We, as an Islamic movement, present a view that is different, and an interpretation that is different, from those of the other parties regarding the reasons and circumstances of the Nakba. We do not focus on external elements such as colonialism and occupation, nor [do we focus] geographically only on Palestine. In our view, the Nakba is the result of the weakness and collapse of the overall Islamic body, and therefore we must not isolate ourselves [from the rest of the Muslim world], and must strengthen the Islamic body and entity.”

“Q: What is to be Israel’s fate in such a situation?”

“A: Israel must be part of the great Islamic state. We are not against the Jews, just against the Zionist movement and its racist ideas. But we must not forget our responsibility [for our fate] and the causes of the Nakba…

Jordan asks Canada to seize Dead Sea scrolls

Posted by smoothstone

Jordan, like all Arab nations that thrive on Muslim identity politics, wants to erase every shred of proof that Jews have an historical right to all the land in Israel, including the West Bank, Gaza and a little bit of the east side of the Jordan River. Via The Globe and Mail:

Jordan has asked Canada to seize the 2,000-year-old Dead Sea scrolls, on display at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. While confirming that Canada has received a message from Jordan, a spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade said Thursday that “differences regarding ownership of the Dead Sea scrolls should be addressed by Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority. It would not be appropriate for Canada to intervene as a third party.” The ancient Hebrew scrolls, discovered in 1947, were part of one of the greatest archeological discoveries of the 20th century. The scrolls had been hidden in caves to hide them from the Romans. Israel argues that all the scrolls in its possession are part of the Jewish heritage.

For more critical evidence that negates the claim that the Arabs in the Land of Israel have been there “from time immemorial”, see this, this, this and this.

Salahi: What’s in a name?

Posted by smoothstone

Nothing other than that Tareq Salahi, the White House “gatecrasher”, served in the same anti-Israel group as Obama’s palestinian professor pal Rashid Khalidi, a professor who excuses muslim terrorism as long as it is Jewish blood, guts and sinew that get splattered. Via WND:

Tareq Salahi served on the board of the American Task Force for Palestine, where Columbia University Professor Khalidi served as vice president. The American Power blog noticed both Salahi’s and Khalidi’s names have been scrubbed from the Task Force website, although Salahi’s bio still comes up on a Google cache search of the site.

The Task Force lobbies for a Palestinian state and demands the so-called right of return for Palestinian “refugees” – a formula Israeli officials across the political spectrum have warned could destroy Israel by population genocide, with the Jewish state forced to accept millions of Arabs, thus diluting its Jewish majority.

Basically, this proves that when you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas.

Kids’ hate speech against Jews included in PA Arafat memorial

“The Jews poisoned him [Arafat] and I hate them very much.
Allah will repay them what they deserve.”
[Video of Palestinian girl shown at Arafat memorial,
PATV (Fatah), Nov. 10, 2009]

A televised memorial ceremony for Yasser Arafat included a video clip of Palestinian children delivering messages in honor of Arafat. It is noteworthy that even though this clip was prerecorded and edited, the organizers of the PA’s official ceremony chose to include hate speech and libels that demonized Jews and glorified violence and Martyrdom.

Several of the chosen messages featured children repeating the ongoing Palestinian Authority libel that Arafat was poisoned by Jews. None of the children spoke about peace; in fact, the opposite was the case. One boy praised Arafat because he was a “fighter” who “did things through [violent] struggle,” and who “did not make peace.” The Martyrdom (Shahada) ideal was also selected as a message for the ceremony, with one boy quoting Arafat: “They want me dead, they want me prisoner but I say: Martyr, Martyr, Martyr!”

This children’s section in the special memorial indicates the PA’s success in transmitting to the next generation of Palestinian children hate libels that demonize Jews. Including these hate messages in the ceremony also shows that the PA approves of, and wants to publicize, the values of hatred, violence and Martyrdom that the children have adopted.

To view the children’s hate speech included in the Arafat memorial, click here.

The following is the transcript of excerpts of the children’s messages:

Ceremony host: “Blessings to Yasser Arafat, and here are messages from the children of Palestine.”
Boy: “I was very, very sad when Arafat died as a Shahid (Martyr), because he was a good man and he was a fighter. He did things through struggle, he participated in the struggle and did not make peace and so on. He wanted to fight.”
Boy 2: “Yasser Arafat was a very, very important president. He stood up to all the enemies and was not afraid of anyone. And anyone who approached – he managed to stop him. All the Jews and the Israelis and the people who are against us, were afraid of him. When he died, he died of poisoning.”
Girl wearing pendant in the shape of Israel: “I say that he died from poisoning by the Jews. That’s what I say.”
Boy 3: “Arafat used to say: “They want me dead, they want me prisoner, but I say to them: Martyr! Martyr! Martyr!”
Girl 2: “He [Arafat] was our former president. He was under siege in Ramallah, and when he was under siege we were very upset. The Jews poisoned him and I hate them very much. Allah will repay them what they deserve.”
Boy 4: “He [Arafat] died from poisoning by the Jews. Well, I don’t know what he died from, but I know it was by the Jews.”
Boy 5: “They destroyed his whole house and he was left in one room and in the end the Jews poisoned him and blamed someone else.”
[PATV (Fatah), Nov. 10, 2009]

The official memorial ceremony for Yasser Arafat was held at the Ramallah Cultural Palace on Nov. 10, 2009, the fifth anniversary of his death, and broadcast live on PATV. Speakers included Salaam Fayyad (PA Prime Minister) and Nasser Al-Qidwa (Chairman of Board of Directors, Institute for Commemoration of Arafat, and former PA Foreign Minister).
Several senior PA, Fatah and PLO personnel attended, including Al-Tayeb Abd-Al-Rahim (Secretary General of the PA Presidency), Tayseer Al-Tamimi (PA Chief Justice of religious court and Chairman of Supreme Council of Islamic Law), and Fatah Central Committee members Muhammad Dahlan, Sultan Abu-Einin and Nabil Shaath.

PA TV: Jews Have No History in Land of Israel

Posted by smoothstone

More mendacity from the fabricated entity commonly referred to as “Palestine”.  Via Palestinian Media Watch:

In an interview on official PA television on Oct. 22, historian Nabil Alqam first denied thousands of years of documented Jewish history in Israel, then replaced it with “4,000 to 5,000 years” of fictitious Palestinian history.

Placing Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims in Israel in biblical times is historically impossible: The name “Palestine” was coined by Rome only in 136 CE, and for nearly 2,000 years Jews were the only Palestinians the world recognized.
Islam was established only in 610 CE. Arabs first arrived in Israel with the Muslim invasion in 637 CE.

‘Westernized’ Woman Allegedly Hit by Dad’s Car Dies

Posted by smoothstone

Via FoxNews:

Authorities say a 20-year-old woman from Iraq whose father allegedly hit her with his car in a Phoenix suburb died from her injuries.

Noor Faleh Almaleki had been in a local hospital since Oct. 20. Peoria police spokesman Mike Tellef says she died Monday.

Family members say Faleh Hassan Almaleki believed his daughter had become too Westernized and was not living according to his traditional Iraqi values.

Faleh Almaleki fled after the attack but was arrested Thursday when he arrived at Atlanta’s airport, where he was sent from the United Kingdom after authorities denied him entrance.

Why Shariah Must Be Opposed

Posted by smoothstone

Regardless of the irrelevant fact that Obama no longer allows the use of the words, “war on terror”,  here is why Shariah as public policy must be opposed.  Daniel Pipes explains:

Those of us who argue against Shariah are sometimes asked why Islamic law poses a problem when modern Western societies long ago accommodated Halakha, or Jewish law. In fact, this was one of the main talking points of those who argued that Shariah should become an accepted part of dispute resolution in Ontario in 2005.

The answer is easy: a fundamental difference separates the two. Islam is a missionizing religion, Judaism is not. Islamists aspire to apply Islamic law to everyone, while observant Jews seek only to live by Jewish law themselves.

Two very recent examples from the United Kingdom demonstrate the innate imperialism of Islamic law.

Picture of the Queens Care Centre from the outside.

The first concerns Queens Care Centre, an old-age home and day-care provider for the elderly in the coal town of Maltby, 40 miles east of Manchester. At present, according to the Daily Telegraph, not one of its 37 staff or 40 residents is Muslim. Although the home’s management asserts a respect for its residents’ “religious and cultural beliefs,” QCC’s owner since 1994, Zulfikar Ali Khan, on his own decided this year to switch the home’s meat purchases to a halal butcher.

His stealthy decision meant pensioners at QCC could no longer eat their bacon and eggs, bangers and mash, ham sandwiches, bacon sandwiches, pork pies, bacon butties, or sausage rolls. The switch prompted widespread anger. The relative of one resident called it “a disgrace. The old people who are in the home and in their final years deserve better. … [I]t’s shocking that they should be deprived of the food they like on the whim of this man.” A staff member opined that it’s “quite wrong that someone should impose their religious and cultural beliefs on others like this.”

Assistant Chief Constable Jackie Roberts of the Avon and Somerset police force models the hijab for non-Muslims.

Queried about his decision, Khan, lamely replied he ordered halal meat for the sake of (nonexistent) Muslim staff. Then he backtracked: “We will be ordering all types of meat” and went so far as to agree that religious beliefs should not be imposed on others. His retreat did not convince one former QCC staffer, who suspected that Khan “intended to serve only halal meat at the home but has had to think again because of the row.”

A second example of imposing Shariah on non-Muslims comes from southeast England. The Avon and Somerset police force patrols the cities of Bristol and Bath as well as surrounding areas has just issued hijabs to female officers. The hijabs, distributed at the initiative of two Muslim groups and costing £13 apiece, come complete with the constabulary’s emblem.

Now, issuing hijabs as part of uniforms in Great Britain is nothing new – the London police led the way in 2001, followed by other police forces, at least one fire brigade, and even the furniture chain Ikea. What sets the Avon and Somerset hijabs apart from these others is their being intended not just for pious Muslim female staff but also for non-Muslim staff, in particular for their use upon entering mosques.

[Rashad Azami of the Bath Islamic Society finds it "highly pleasing" that the constabulary took this step. One of the seven non-Muslim officers to receive a hijab of her very own, Assistant Chief Constable Jackie Roberts, calls it "a very positive addition to the uniform and one which I'm sure will be a welcome item for many of our officers."

[Dhimmitude is the term Bat Ye'or coined to describe subservience to Shariah by non-Muslims. Assistant Chief Constable Roberts' enthusiasm for the hijab might be called "advanced dhimmitude."]

Hijab bullies” (as David J. Rusin of Islamist Watch calls them) who coerce non-Muslim females to cover up are just one stripe of Islamist imposing Shar’i ways on the West. Other Islamists focus on impeding the uncensored discussion of such topics as Muhammad and the Koran or Islamist institutions or terrorist financing; still others exert to bring taxpayer-funded schools, hospitals, and jails into conformity with Islamic law, not to speak of taxi cabs and municipal swimming pools. Their efforts don’t always succeed but in the aggregate, they are rapidly shifting the premises of Western, and especially British, life.

Returning to pork: both Islam and Judaism abominate the flesh of pigs, so this prohibition offers a direct and revealing comparison of the two religions. Simply put, Jews accept that non-Jews eat pork but Muslims take offense and try to impede pork consumption. That, in brief, explains why Western accommodations to Halakha have no relevance for dealing with Shariah. And why Shariah as public policy must be opposed.

The Real Quagmire in the Middle East

Posted by smoothstone

Jeffrey Goldberg repeats my own statement that if Palestinianism is valid, so then is Zionism.  One must answer the contradiction why the international community believes that only Palestinian Arabs are entitled to self-determination while believing that Palestinian Jews are not.  Jews were an ancient people already when Mohammad appeared on the Arabian peninsula.  It only makes sense that the Jewish people live near and among their ancient holy sites.  Just because Muslims built their mosques on top of Jewish sites in acts of war, superiority and hubris 1,400 years ago, does not invalidate the indigenous rights of Jews nor the historical entitlement that Jews have earned to rightfully live near, in and amongst their own Holiest sites, tombs, synagogues, and archaeological remnants. And let it be known that those remnants, artifacts and actual buildings that are being revealed and discovered almost every week by scientists and archeologists prove Jewish preeminence in the land and region.

Archaeology is the veracity that Muslims won’t tolerate which is why the Muslim waqf discards all debris and dirt without sorting it while it cowardly digs out dirt underneath the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem for fear that Jewish artifacts will be discovered proving the preexistence of the Jewish people thousands of years before Mohammed was ever born. Via DailyAlert from michaeltotten.com:

Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic Monthly said in an interview:

* “The settlements aren’t the central question. They’re a tragedy in part because they obscure the central question of this conflict. The only question is: can the world of Arab Islam accept the idea of Jewish national equality?…The Six-Day War wasn’t started because of the settlements. If you study the history of the last one hundred years, you’ll see that this [accepting Jewish national equality] is the central animating cause of the conflict. And I don’t see much evidence that Arab Islam can assimilate this idea right now.”

* “The question of Israel is the question of what happens to all minorities in the Middle East. The Arab Muslim Middle East has 300 million people. It has a very hard time treating Coptic Christians with equality, treating Maronites in Lebanon with equality, treating Southern Sudanese in an equal way, treating Kurds in an equal way, and dealing with Jews – not only in their national expression, but even as minorities within their own countries. There was never a golden era for Jews who lived in Arab countries.”

* Q: You have talked to Hamas people. Should the Israelis or Americans talk to them?

Goldberg: “I don’t know what they’d get out of it….People in the United States find it hard to understand how people in Hamas and Hizbullah think. It’s alien to us. The feverish racism and conspiracy mongering, the obscurantism, the apocalyptic thinking – we can’t relate to that….We’re talking about whole societies that are captive to this kind of absurdity.”

* “Just because a belief sounds ridiculous to you doesn’t mean it’s not sincerely held. So I think it’s best to err on the side of taking people at their word….I believe Hamas when it says it wants to eradicate Israel….Why not? Palestinians, over the years, have proven that they’re willing to sacrifice generations of people to achieve their goal of a Jewish-free Palestine.”

* “Arabs are misreading history if they believe Israel is a temporary phenomenon. Nothing like this has ever happened in history. A dead tribe came back and seized the land it had, and did so after a devastating tragedy. Jews are also good at waiting, apparently. They’re a small group, but there’s a survival impulse that’s embedded in many Jews, and certainly in the Jews of Israel today. It says: ‘You want to wait? We’ll wait, too.’ Jews were an ancient people already when Mohammad appeared on the Arabian peninsula.”

* “I’m negative about the intentions of Palestinians. If their goal were statehood, they could have had statehood. Therefore, you have to give serious credence to the idea that their goal is not statehood, that it’s more important to rid the Arab world of Jewish nationalism than it is to have a Palestinian state that would improve the lives of individual Palestinians now.”
