In a speech in Ankara, Turkey, President Obama proclaimed, ‘We do not consider ourselves a nation of Christians – we are a nation of citizens’ Video
I hope all the dopes who voted for Obama are thrilled to watch him dilute all of our American traditions. At least, President Bush was proud to be American.

No, we are not all Christians in this nation, but his blatant pandering to Muslims, is making me think he thinks we are an Islamist nation. The speech in Turkey was nothing compared to his tearing down 200 years of US Presidents not bowing to royalty in one fell swoop when he bowed and scraped last week to a Muslim King. He did not bow to the President of Israel, nor the Queen of England, both of whom, I believe are shorter than him (his excuse w/the king). We were a Judeo-Christian nation w/values the world envied, but in the past two months we have become a kow-towing, unrealistic, head in the sand plot of land that Neville Chamberlain wd be proud of and would have our Founding Fathers rolling in their graves. May the Lord God Almighty have mercy on us…

Well said. Now what will Mr. “I am not a muslim but want them to think that I might be” do when we have to go and blow those ba—-rds out of the water to get our captain back?. We would have him back already if Obama wasnt afraid to do something… Sadly he’s Jimmy Carter all over again
You peeps that voted for him…is the honeymoon over yet?

I agree with both of your commenters above. I am a Christian who, of course, did not vote for Obama. I voted for the lesser of two evils when I voted for McCain. He does not uphold all of my Christian values, but he would never bow to a Muslim! I wonder how some of my Christian and Jewish friends who voted for Obama feel now… surely, if their faiths are genuine, they feel ashamed and afraid! I fear for our nation.

I cannot believe that President Obama said that we are not a nation of Christians. This country was founded on ” IN GOD WE TRUST”. How could he forget that. I know we are a nation of religous freedom but what if he would have said we are not a nation of atheists. how would they have said. This man is starting to frighten me because I reserve my right to be a practicing Christian. It is none of my busines what someone else may believe but that statement by our leader was completely out of line.

My grandfather fought in WWI and survived. My brother and I served during the Vietnam era. Did this man ever once stick his neck out for this country. I am one upset veteran and I am willing to admit that I voted for him and now I regret. God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Randy, don’t feel too bad, Obama fooled a lot of people. We CAN still get our nation back. We know for a fact that you’re not alone in regretting your vote. We can get Congress back in two years which may help minimize the damage that is being done and hopefully in four years, we will be rid of this repugnant president. Remain vigilant, indulge your friends and family in passionate discussions about politics laced with facts and talking points, and keep it up. Every little bit helps. G-d Bless you and your family for their service. Hope you had a wonderful Easter.

Lynn, I wonder too. Yet, even now, we have the media and tv talk show hosts – like Jon Steward – who still vow that Obama is the best thing since sliced bread. Some people are just plain stupid, others are full of hubris, and yet others are bewitched by the cult of personality. Our country is indeed in a very bad and very sad state. We can thank the left and Islamism for that.
