A lot of people just do not realise that the Muslim world hates Israel because of religion – not because of any land dispute.
Islamic religious law states that *any* land that has ever been under Muslim control, even if for only five minutes, must ultimately be returned to Muslim hands – by force if necessary.
For the vast majority of Muslims, the notion of having a secular, democratic Jewish state, of any size, is intolerable. It wouldn’t matter if Israel was the size of a postage stamp – it would still be unacceptable to many Muslims.
But Europe is convinced by Muslim and Arab propaganda and condemns Israel for ‘taking’ land ‘from the palestinians’. This reveals such ignorance of history that it is staggering.
