According to Palestinian Arabs, Palestinian Jews have no right to self-determination. This has been the single platform upon which Palestinian Arabs have justified their use of the myriad terror organizations under its one umbrella. Fatah was founded in 1964, three years before 1967, unless causality has no meaning, the resistance to Israel was born with no reference to 1967 but, rather, with Israel’s birth in 1948.
It is now 60 years since Israel was voted imprimatur as a legitimate and sovereign nation by the UN but according to Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salaam Fayad, Jerusalem is holy to only two religions – Islam and Christianity.
Fayad said this at the UN-organized interfaith peace conference on Wednesday night. Fayad failed to mention the importance of Israel’s capital to the Jewish people. He said:
Jerusalem is home to the third most holy place to Islam, the place where Muhammad rose to the heavens, and the place where Jesus, the Christian, was resurrected.
Fayad added that Jerusalem was occupied in June 1967 and called to locate a future Palestinian state capital there.
Sorry, Fayad.
There will never be a Palestinian state capital in Jerusalem as long as Palestinian Arabs refuse to renounce terror and Israel’s destruction.
To posture about Palestinian statehood rights as the root cause of Islamic terrorism is to misrepresent history, considering the existence of 1,400 years of historical and empirical evidence which proves that Islam, at its core, is lethally militaristic and institutionalizes homicide.
