Rioting in Akko

Posted by smoothstone

The Jew-hating mainstream media hasn’t been publishing too many articles about the new and ongoing riots in Akko in Israel.  Here’s what happened last week:

On Erev Yom Kippur, an arab deliberately drove his car into a Jewish neighborhood in Akko.  He turned on the radio in his car and blasted it to deliberately cause a disturbance to the Jewish community on the eve of the holiest day of the Jewish year.

Here’s a photo of the instigator.  He looks like a ghoul, doesn’t he?  Like a ghoul in a horror film.  His name is Tawfiq Jamal.  In Arabic, his name translates to “I need a Jewish orthodontist”.

Anyway, at about 11:30 p.m. on Erev Yom Kippur, Jewish youths hanging out - righteously - took umbrage when Tawfiq Jamal drove his car along Avraham Ben Shoshan Street in the Jewish part of town. Some of the youths claimed they feared he was about to carry out a vehicular terrorist attack - similar to other terrorist attacks against innocent Jews committed by Arabs in Jerusalem and other places in Israel.

These are righteous Jews who had every reason to fear that an arab was about to slaughter a Jew on Yom Kippur in a vehicular homicide bomb attack.

According to JPost, just what Jamal was doing on Yom Kippur eve in a Jewish neighborhood - where virtually no cars except emergency vehicles are on the road - is in dispute. His claim is that, accompanied by his son and the son’s friend, he was picking up his daughter from her fiancé’s place.

The Jewish youths say he was blasting music and smoking a nargila in an act of ostentatious provocation. The initial police report backed the youths’ version and suggested that Jamal was also intoxicated.

A verbal confrontation quickly erupted, with righteous Jews throwing stones and bottles at the Jamal party, which was eventually rescued by police.

An arab who saw the altercation contacted a local sheikh and, within minutes, calls were made from mosque loudspeakers: “The Jews are attacking us!” Up to 2,000 rioting Arabs chanting “Death to the Jews” then converged on the Jewish part of town, rioting and looting. Hundreds of cars were damaged; scores of shops vandalized. The disturbances petered out with daybreak.

Surprisingly, moderate Arab leaders publicly criticized Jamal for his insensitivity.

Sadly, JPost has apportioned moral relativism to both Jews and arabs, and has condemned the Jewish youth for being offended at Jamal’s deliberate appearance.  The arabs involved, many screaming “Itbah al-Yahud” [death to the Jews], is a reminder of how dangerous arab citizens of Israel are - but JPost could care less.

Screw your opinion, JPost.

Greater Jewish men than you sacrificed their lives so that Israel could fight for her liberty and the right of her people to live as free men and women.

That Jewish youth righteously felt empowered to become like soldiers on Erev Yom Kippur is empowering and wonderful and comforting to all Jews around the world.

The Haganah, the Palmach, also the product of youth, helped to shape Israel.

Those Jewish youth in Akko are to be commended, applauded and respected.  They are the next generation of herocia and brave Jews - the Lions of Judah.

Vigilantism in Israel by Jews should NEVER BE IMPUGNED. Clearly, the Jerusalem Post has gone over to the dark side.
