Obamabots are everywhere
“Obamabots” and “Obamanites” are not just code words for hypnotized, dumbed-down Americans who can’t wait to vote for the first black man to be President of the United States even though he’s the wrong black man, it’s a code word for Idiot. Lewis Diuguid, a Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist, is convinced that socialism is good because it fights for peace, racial justice, equality, and labor relations.
h/t Planck’s Constant:
Have you noticed lately that Obamanites have been trying to make the concept of socialism acceptable? Ever since Obama slipped and told Joe the Plumber that he wants to redistribute the wealth numerous bloggers and commenters are now explaining that progressive taxation is socialism, that Teddy Roosevelt was a socialist (yes he was, but so what, that still doesn’t excuse socialism), that America is a socialist country already and that more socialism isn’t such a bad thing. Now we are told that we can’t even use the word socialist in regard to Obama because it’s just another word for uppity Black. Lewis Diuguid, a Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist wrote a nasty piece of garbage last Tuesday trying to make two points:
- Whites use the word socialist as a code word for black and therefor unAmerican.
- McCain and Palin should be ashamed for using this code word against Obama.
- and more subtly, that socialism is good because it fights for peace, racial justice, equality, and labor relations.
Oops is that three points? Sorry, I was in a Joe Biden fugue for a moment there.
Here is the original article:The Star, Kansas City, Shame on McCain and Palin for using an old code word for black
The “socialist” label that Sen. John McCain and his GOP presidential running mate Sarah Palin are trying to attach to Sen. Barack Obama actually has long and very ugly historical roots.
J. Edgar Hoover, director of the FBI from 1924 to 1972, used the term liberally to describe African Americans who spent their lives fighting for equality.
Those freedom fighters included the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., who led the Civil Rights Movement; W.E.B. Du Bois, who in 1909 helped found the NAACP which is still the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization; Paul Robeson, a famous singer, actor and political activist who in the 1930s became involved in national and international movements for better labor relations, peace and racial justice; and A. Philip Randolph, who founded and was the longtime head of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters and a leading advocate for civil rights for African Americans.
McCain and Palin have simply reached back in history to use an old code word for black. It set whites apart from those deemed unAmerican and those who could not be trusted during the communism scare.
Shame on McCain and Palin.
What an idiot Diuguid is. Like there’s peace in Britain which is socialist? Britain is not peaceful, it’s being taken over by warring Islamists. What about all the race riots in France being perpetrated by Muslims? France is a socialist country. Riots, tire-burnings, arson, destroying property and burning automobiles in the outer boros of Paris by racist warring Muslims, is not peaceful. And what about in Spain? Do you call the terror-murder bombings by al-Qaeda in Madrid on ten commuter trains peaceful? Only an idiot would call that peaceful. Jeremiah Wright, who embraces black liberation theology and socialism, is not peaceful.
See, socialism is unAmerican because socialism goes against individual freedoms. Socialism is unconstitutional and goes against the constitutional imprimatur to pursue life, liberty and happiness. Socialism is why we broke away from England and settled in America, because England was redistributing everyone’s wealth. Read up on the Boston Tea Party, folks.
While Muslims and their sympathizers toot the message that France has no reason to believe that its Islamic population will undermine the French Republic, that is exactly what is happening. Meanwhile, European anti-Semitism is once again on the rise. Nazism was called National Socialism. How many more examples of socialism does one have to write about to prove that socialism is a dangerous threat?
Obama wants to promise all things to all people. Obama wants to give the store away to garner votes from those who believe the government should give everybody everything without consequence.
How much free medical care can you provide the population until the system collapses?
How many mortgages can you provide to a non-working population until the system collapses?
So look at your beloved candidate Obama, people. What is he really promising?

Please vote for Bob Barr, the Libertarian Party candidate for president.
Why vote for McCain? He voted for the bailout, just like Obama. And both McCain and Obama voted for US government investment in big commercial banks, which is socialist, Socialism, maybe even Communism. Why not send a message to both parties that it is time to vote on principles? Why not? YES, we should!
Only Bob Barr is moral enough and conservative enough to deal with the issue of housing, Wall Street, and the rest of the current mess. He has not taken a cent from Fannie or Freddie or from any of the Wall Street firms that profit from the bailout. And Bob Barr has the support of Rep. Ron Paul, who did so well in the Republican primary debates.

Sorry, dfelton, Bob Barr doesn’t have a chance. This country is a two-party country and either Obama or McCain will win this presidential election.
