Once again, it’s the “only small segment of the population argument” in spite of the fact that Muslims are involved in 25 of some 30 conflicts going on in the world including Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Cyprus, East Timor, India, Indonesia (2 provinces), Kashmir, Kazakastan, Kosovo, Kurdistan, Macedonia, the Middle East, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sudan, Russia-Chechnya, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uganda and Uzbekistan. Via Sunday Times-UK:
Scotland Yard’s counter-terrorist command arrested three men Saturday after a petrol bomb was pushed through the door of the north London home of Dutch publisher Martin Rynja, whose firm, Gibson Square, is publishing a forthcoming novel by American author Sherry Jones, The Jewel of Medina, featuring the Prophet Muhammad and his child bride, Aisha.
The terror gang was being followed by undercover police and the fire was quickly put out. The book was withdrawn from publication in America last month after its publisher there, Random House, said it feared a violent reaction by “a small radical segment” of Muslims.
