Looking at the Left (thanks to Pamela) has this one and more pictures of the Iranian exhibit outside the DNC, in the shadow of the Colorado state capital building. Zombie has more at LGF. The exhibit is devoted to showing how wonderful life is inside the Iranian mullahcracy, and comes complete with a pseudo-mosque. Says Zombie:

The purpose of the exhibit was “transparently” to arouse sympathy for the Iranian people and discourage any US military action aimed at stopping the Iranian government from getting a nuclear bomb. Or so it seemed to me.

   iran IS wonderful, fabulous people, light, land, culture, there are rock bands and skiing, bet you didn’t know that.

   if you judge a country from the outside, by its government, what do you think the world’s impression of america is?

   Don’t you tell me what I know and what I don’t know, you arrogant slob. I know all about Ahmadinejad. I know all about Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini’s beliefs. I know all about Khomeini’s teachings on sex with animals. If you missed it, you can read about it , here. I know all about Iran and its history, and I wouldn’t be so proud of it, if I were you.

   Instead, it would be better if you practiced the same philosophy about Jews and Israel too, you little scrape, that you dare to preach here. Do you like Jews? Do you believe that the Jewish people have a right to self-determination? Do you believe that the Jewish people should be able to live in their homeland and remain in Hebron and Gaza as Arabs remain in Jaffa and their Galilee villages?

   Besides, nobody gives a phuck what little tyrants like you think. You voted in your mullahs and now you’re forcing your detestable traditions onto the rest of us.

   Your selective indignation on the matter of Islamic terror and mass murder is repulsively hypocritical.

   So go ahead and ski, Gregory. Go ahead and play in your rock bands while we’ll laugh at you since these are all recreational ideas and concepts you stole from the West that you so stupidly condemn.

   Now get lost and go act out your Muslim hubris somewhere else. I suggest you fix your own society and culture before you come here and tell Americans what is wrong with us.
